The Telstar Big Band is a 16 piece Swing Band with Saxes, Trumpets,
Trombones and a Rhythm Section. We perform throughout the Country
at 1940s events where only a true 1940s authentic Big Band sound will
do. We have a repertoire of over 1000 swing era standards from all of the
greats including Miller, Basie, Ellington, Dorsey, Goodman, Shaw etc...
Our resident vocalists Katie Mustang and Tony Casino are stars of the
current 40s scene in their own right.
Telstar Swing Band is an 8 piece "little" Big Band. Consisting of Saxes,
Brass and a 3 piece Rhythm Section This "little" band delivers a Big Band
sound. This band is perfect for events where the a full big band show is
required but with space or budget restrictions.
Telstar Tea Dance Band. A Quintet for tea dances, lounge concerts and
background music.
Telstar Trio. A Trio for tea dances, lounge concerts and background
music.
Telstar Brass Quintet. This 5 piece "classical" Brass group are an
alternative to the organ for wedding services. Fanfares, Hymns and Bridal
marches.
